How we bind ourselves
A registry is worth exactly what its word is worth
These are the rules we put in writing, the risks we monitor, and how to complain if we fail to keep them.
Statement of impartiality
ELTrack’s job is to record movements of end-of-life tyres and to provide evidence of them. That job is worthless if whoever reads the record suspects it favours someone. Impartiality is not a value we declare: it is the condition for the product to work at all.
We commit to
- Applying the same conditions, prices and rules to every registered organisation, with no exceptions for relationship, size or seniority.
- Giving no organisation access to another’s data that is not available to all on the same terms.
- Ordering any listing or directory by published, verifiable criteria — never by editorial judgement.
- Never making registration, records or network membership conditional on buying any other service.
- Declaring in each client’s contract any related-party relationship that could affect them.
Risks we monitor
- Ownership or commercial relationships with registered organisations or with suppliers in the chain.
- Economic pressure from a large client on the content of a record or a certificate.
- Dependence on a single revenue source that makes saying no expensive.
- Conflicts of the staff operating the registry with any of the parties.
- Use of aggregated data for a purpose other than the one it was provided for.
What this is not
ELTrack records and provides evidence; it does not certify. It is designed in accordance with ISO/IEC 17020, but as of this date it is not accredited by the Mexican Accreditation Entity. No record issued by ELTrack is an accredited certificate, replaces a verifier, or exempts anyone from any filing before an authority.
Complaints and appeals
A complaint concerns our service or our conduct. An appeal asks us to reconsider a decision we made about one of your records. Both follow the same route and neither costs anything.
1
Send your case
To contacto@eltrack.mx or through the contact form. Your organisation, what happened and which references are involved is enough.
2
We confirm receipt
Within 3 business days, with a case number.
3
Someone uninvolved reviews it
Whoever handles the complaint cannot be the same person who made the decision being challenged. If that is not possible, we say so and look for a third party.
4
We resolve in writing
Within 20 business days of the acknowledgement, with the reasoning. If more time is needed, we tell you before the deadline falls.
5
It is recorded
Every complaint and its resolution are filed and reviewed periodically to fix whatever caused it.
While it is being resolved
A challenged record is neither deleted nor modified during review: it is flagged as challenged. If the resolution finds in your favour, the correction is entered in the log alongside the original figure — never on top of it.
